IR Department Independent MBKM Program

The International Relations Department organizes the Independent MBKM program which can take the form of Independent Study or internship. This MBKM program is held in collaboration with the study program with university partners and DUDI or carried out in institutions that have gone through the screening process of the HI Study Program. Students must actively consult with their guardian lecturers and field supervisors.


Recommended Internship Agencies/Institutions:

  1. Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia or Indonesian Consulate abroad.
  2. Embassy or Consulate of a country that has diplomatic relations with Indonesia domestically.
  3. International Organizations (IGO/INGO) in Indonesia and abroad.
  4. Multinational/Transnational Companies in overseas cooperation sections/divisions or other relevant areas*.
  5. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Law and Human Rights (immigration section/division.
  6. Ministries, State Agencies/Institutions in the international cooperation section or other relevant areas*
  7. DPR RI (at AIPA, DPR RI Research Center for International Relations, Commission I).
  8. Foreign cooperation section at the regional government office.
  9. Epistemic Community (BRIN, CSIS, ISEAS).
  10. Immigration office.
  11. BUMN which is UMM's Certified/Integrated Internship partner in the relevant section/division*.

IR Department Independent MBKM Program Guide:

  1. Make sure students have consulted with their Academic Supervisor/Guardian regarding the place and time of the internship.
  2. Once accepted, students are required to fill out an application form for Kampus Merdeka participation during the KRS programming period.*
  3. For those who have carried out an MBKM internship, they are required to collect Activity Reports, Journals according to the format, and SKS conversion/recognition application documents, in soft-file and hard-file form. Soft files are collected online, while hard files are collected by the guardian lecturer.*
  4. Soft files are collected online, while hard files are collected by the guardian lecturer.
  5. Journal Reports and Articles are a requirement for Conversion submission.
  6. Please upload soft files for reports and journals in the following form (click to open the form).
  7. Reports and Journals must be reported no later than before the UAS ends as a condition for submitting a conversion application.
  8. Recognition of MBKM Program credits is the authority of the UMM HI Study Program leadership.

Note:
*The minimum internship period is 3 months (domestic) and 2 months (abroad) to be converted to a maximum of 20 credits.
*All required documents can be checked in the Kampus Merdeka Supporting Documents menu.
